Relocating....

My webserver has been relocated and is currently awaiting a pipe to the web of tubes.

Once the relevant plumbers do their job, everything will be back online.

Cardiac Arrest

I guess that's what you call it when the fan on the PSU siezes up.

Either way, my server is down and until the PSU is replaced (hopefully not much longer) things will still be offline.

More Storage

The server is down for maintenance while I install a new hard drive. (finally will get backups again!)


Of course this means that the normal services are out temporarily. Should be back up within an hour....Don't complain - i have more to lose by doing this upgrade than you do. Like sacrificing a 110 day uptime. Thats nearly 1/3 of the year without a single reboot or local power failure.

Server's Last Rites

Well as part of a two-step process, i'm rebuilding the server.

the first step is to format and re-install the server components on my desktop PC.
the second step is to drop the current server offline and give it it's final kiss goodbye.

you're seeing this message because all xerxesb.no-ip.org services are down or almost dead.

M&G - if you wanted to post something on the forum about your Euro trip, i'm sorry for the bad timing. i can only suggest email or facebook as a work-around

Andrea - i hope you remembered to back-up all your photos in the gallery. that "one-day" when i said i'd nuke the server has finally arrived and though i'll do my best to bring everythign across, i cant make any promises.
